iTunes Radio is a brilliant way to listen to streaming music catered to your own tastes. Not only can you choose from your favourite genre, but you can also create stations based upon artists and albums. However, due to licensing issues iTunes Radio is currently limited to users living in the US. But with a few minutes of your time it’s possible to listen to iTunes Radio stations from anywhere in the world. All you need to do is log into an iTunes account with an address registered in the US. Read on to find out how.
1. Create an Apple ID
Open the Settings app on your device. Swipe down, then tap iTunes & App Store. If you’re already logged into an Apple account, tap on it then choose Sign Out. Once logged out, tap on the Create New Apple ID button.
2. Account country
Select United States as your store region, then tap the Next button. On the following screen, agree to the iTunes Store terms and conditions.
3. Details
Enter a working email address, password and security information. When asked for an address, use Apples: Apple Inc., Infinite Loop, Cupertino, CA 95014.
4. Log in
Once you’ve registered an account, sign in via the iTunes & App Store pane in the Settings app. You’ll see a pop-up informing you that your account is only valid in the US, then the App Store app will open. You’re now logged into a US-valid account.
5. Music app
Open the Music app. You should see the iTunes Radio button at the bottom of the screen. If not, force quit the Music app then re-open it, the button will now appear.
