Now you’ve learned how to create documents, style text and format paragraphs, it’s time to discover how to further customize your document for adding page breaks, headers, footers, margins and set the paper size.

All of the above is surprisingly easy. With just a few taps you’ll be well on your way to creating a unique document.


1. Page breaks

Adding a page break is easy. Drag the insertion point where you wish to place the page break. When you lift your finger a pop-up menu will appear. Tap Insert, then choose Page Break.

2. Force text to the next column

Tap and hold to place the insertion point in your document, when you lift your finger, choose Insert from the pop-up window, then choose Column Break.

3. Headers and footers

To add a header and/or footer to your document, tap the spanner icon in the toolbar, then choose Document Setup. You’ll see areas for entering the header and footer content at the top and bottom of the screen.

4. Paper size

Wish to change the size of your document from US Letter to A4 (or vice versa)? Tap the spanner icon in the toolbar, then choose Document Setup. Next, tap the curled corner of the page to choose from the two options.

5. Margins

From the Document Setup screen you can also change the margins of your document. Simply drag the arrows located around the outside of the document to alter them.
