9to5Mac has posted several mock-ups of Apple’s upcoming Healthbook app. Said to work closely with the much-rumoured iWatch accessory, Healthbook will be able to monitor and display statistics covering heart rare, hydration, blood pressure, activity, nutrition, blood sugar levels, respiratory rate, oxygen saturation and sleep patterns.

You can read the full article here. It’s fascinating material, and given the track record of its author, Mark Gurman, very likely to be accurate.

Needless to say, 9to5Mac has given Apple’s competitors — including Samsung – a treasure-trove of insider information. We can probably expect to see an updated Samsung Gear Fit that incorporates all of these leaked features before Apple’s special event in September, when the company is expected to reveal it’s iWatch accessory.
