Navigating the web has never been so fun…
iPhone makes browsing the web a magical experience. You’re literately holding the web in your hands. iPhone loads pages in a snap, enabling you to pinch and zoom through content with your fingertips, displays images and video beautifully on its crystal clear screen, and gives you access to the web anywhere and at any time thanks to its portability and wireless connectivity.
Read on to discover how to make the most out of Safari…
1. Navigating and search
At the top of the screen you’ll find the address field. Tap on this and type any website address to jump straight to it. By entering text into the search bar you can search Google for results.
It’s possible to have several websites open at once on iPhone using tabs. Simply tap the tabs button at the bottom of the screen to open a new tab. You can jump between tabs by tapping this button then swiping left and right through them.
3. Private Browsing
You can browse the web without saving any history, searches, passwords or field entries by enabling Private Browsing mode. To do this, open the Settings app, choose Safari and switch Private Browsing to “ON“.
4. Add a bookmark
While viewing a webpage, tap the Share icon at the bottom of the screen. You can then save the webpage as a bookmark either in the bookmarks list or in the bookmarks tab.
5. Web clips
If you regularly visit a website then it’s possible to save a shortcut to it on the homepage of iPhone. Simply tap the share button then choose the Add to Home Screen button. A new icon will appear on the homepage that takes you straight to your website of choice.
