AllthingsD is reporting that Apple is expected to announce both the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C September 10th.
It sounds about right. Apple typically announces updates to its iPhone range September each year, and iOS 7 is nearing competition with each successive beta release.
What can we expect to see with the iPhone 5S? Rumours point to a 12MP camera with dual flash and support for 60FPS/slow motion video. A fingerprint sensor for added security, a new A6 processor and upgraded GPU plus slightly better battery life.
The iPhone 5C is more interesting. It’s rumoured to include a plastic back cover that comes in a range of colors, and is likely to replace the lower-cost iPhone 4 and 4S which currently comes free with a two-year contract.
iOS Guides is excited to see what Apple announces next month. We’ll keep you posted on any further developments.
