Pictured here are the first iPhone 5C shipments arriving in America. According to C Technology, which has been reporting on the status of the iPhone 5C production, more than 1.2 million units were shipped to the United States earlier this week.
As seen in the accompanying photo, the iPhone 5C comes packaged in a clear, plastic case that displays the unit color. It also appears that a screenshot of the interface is overlaid above the unit but below the plastic, to give the appearance that the iPhone 5C is turned on.
The iPhone 5C is expected to be revealed on September 10th alongside the new iPhone 5S. The 5C is rumoured to include a plastic back-frame, instead of the usual aluminium frame, both to save costs and to enable Apple to introduce a suite of vibrant colors to the iPhone line-up. Internal specifications are expected to mirror the current iPhone 5, with an A6 processor, PowerVR SGX 543MP3 GPU, 8 MP camera and 4.0 inch display.
