WWDC 2013 kicks off today, but ahead of the conference we’ve been given a sneak peak at the new iOS 7 logo.
Featuring a thin, elegant number 7, the logo has a vivid gradient that’s likely to mirror the new icon designs. It’s also likely to use the new font that’s expected to be revealed at the conference.
Why change the font now? Because the use of sharper retina displays enable more subtle, modern typography to be used.
Photographed by 9to5Mac, this is the first time we’ve had a chance to see the logo. Visit the site to see more images, plus a sneak peak at the upcoming iteration of Mac OS X.
Make sure to come back later today to see more iOS 7 news and comparisons.
