Rumours continue to swirl around the upcoming iOS 7.
9to5Mac is reporting that the next iteration of iOS will shift to an entirely new look. The current build of Apples next generation operating system is focusing heavily on a black and white design, with colours used to emphasise separate apps. That means the Mail app might include blue highlights, whereby Safari might use green. Sounds familiar to iOS Guides own apps for the iPhone and iPad.
As reported earlier in the year, Apple Senior Vice President of Industrial Design Jony Ive has been heavily involved in the design refresh for the new iOS. It’s reported that textures have been reduced or entirely removed, all stock apps have seen a redesign and the lock and home screen have seen changes in how they work.
We’ll find out for definite how the new operating system looks and feels next month at the WWDC 2012.
