Make small text and images easier to see by zooming the entire screen…
The iPhone is designed to be easy for anyone to use, even those with visual impairments. However, there might be occasions where you need to zoom the entire screen. Perhaps the text on a website is too small, or you can’t quite make out the detail on an image. Thankfully, using a three-fingered Multi-Touch gesture, it’s easy to zoom the screen.
In this tutorial you’ll discover how easy it is to zoom and pan the iPhones screen using just three fingers. Read on to see how it’s done…
Begin by opening the Settings app. Next, tap the General button, select Accessibility, then tap the Zoom option near the top of the screen.
2. Zoom toggle
You’ll see a toggle switch for enabling screen zoom. Make a note of the text beneath, then toggle the switch. You’ll see the screen instantly zoom.
3. Specify the zoom
The screen will now zoom in, making text and images larger and easier to see. You can zoom in and out by double-tapping three fingers on the screen.
You can pan the zoomed screen by placing three fingers on the screen then moving them around. Congratulations, now you’ve learned the basics of zooming the screen, you should never struggle to read small text again!
5. Turn zoom off
Remember, you can turn off the Zoom function at any time by going back into Settings and turning the Zoom toggle off.
