So you’ve recorded an amazing video, but it’s a bit too long. iOS 7 makes it easy to trim the beginning and end of any video to remove those unwanted or unnecessary moments. The resulting edit can be saved with one tap, or saved as a new clip ensuring the original is left intact on iPad.
In this tutorial we’ll explain how to easily trim a video with just a few taps of your finger. Read on to see how easy it is. Alternatively, to discover how to professional edit and create your own videos, click here to find out more about the iMovie app for iPad and iPhone.

2. Editing a video
You’ll notice that the grey handles have turned yellow, you can now use these to trim the beginning and end of the video. Drag the handles to eliminate any unnecessary content, then tap the Trim button at the top of the screen.
3. Save or Replace?
iPad will ask if you would like to trim the original video, or create a new video with the edited length. Tap whichever is relevant to your needs.
4. Share your video
Congratulations, you’ve edited your first film on iPad! You’ll see the edited film appear in the Camera Roll. To share it, tap the Share button in the bottom left corner.
