Apple Store lets queueing customers shelter from typhoon

Here’s a heart-warming story from Japan, staff at Apple Tokyo’s Ginza store have allowed customers queuing for the up-coming iPhone 5S and 5C to wait inside while a typhoon rages outside.

Staff opened the doors shortly after 7:30 AM on Friday morning and let queuing customers wait in the Apple Store theater until 10:30. They were given free bottles of water and a comfy dry chair to sit in. “I was so moved how Apple treats its customers,” said YouTube user AppTaylor.
