Milward Brown Optimor has posted its 2013 BrandZ list, once again naming Apple as its most valuable brand.

Apple is ranked number 1, with a brand value of $185,071 million. In second place is Google, with a brand value of $113,669 million.

“What we see with the most popular or powerful brands is that brand lasts a lot longer, is more robust and doesn’t tend to slip as much, whereas the finances go up and down.”

Said BrandZ director, Peter Walshe. Apple’s brand value only rose 1%, but it’s still considerably further ahead than Google and the other named brands.
